Find Your Green Built Texas Home Today

Welcome to the Green Built Texas Home Registry. Disclaimer

The Home Builders Association of Greater Dallas (HBA) makes no representations or warranties about the projects listed in its home registry other than that the third party Green Built Texas Verifier has solely determined that the project has been built (or is being built) to the Green Built Texas (GBT) Construction Protocol.

The HBA and its employees do not verify the project’s compliance or non-compliance with the GBT Protocol and therefore do not determine the project’s eligibility for listing on this registry nor can they guarantee the accuracy of the information provided herein. Consumers should contact the individual builder to discuss specific features included in these homes.

Dual Branding Opportunities with Other Green Building Programs

In order to provide its members with access to all viable green building solutions available to them in the market, the HBA of Greater Dallas recognizes homes that obtain certification from other programs. These include:

Builders and verifiers simply have to follow the qualifications established by these programs and show proof that the home has received certification under any one of them. Other than posting the home on the registry, there is no need to “double back” and also follow Green Built Texas requirements, which may vary from those in these programs.

The result makes it easier to obtain dual branding with Green Built Texas and one or more national green building programs without unnecessary additional steps. The hope is that this strategy also makes the HBA of Greater Dallas a clearinghouse for information on a variety of available green building strategies.
