Today I was given the opportunity to give the HBA’s Remodelers Council an update on the progress of the Green Built Texas Home Energy Upgrade Program. This program will utilize resources created by the Texas Home Energy Rating Organization and will enable remodelers to communicate the value of energy efficient upgrades to their clients. This is an awesome program and will be a very valuable tool for remodelers and homeowners alike. There is no doubt – in my opinion – that homeowners with a GBT certified project will have an edge in the market when it comes to selling their home in the future.
